Koole

Barbara Koole is an action researcher with experience inside and outside of universities. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral researcher at Tilburg University. She is trained as a multidisciplinary social scientist with a specific focus on sustainability transitions and trust. Previously, she worked as a social entrepreneur and cultural programmer. Barbara will be defending her PhD dissertation called 'Trust for Change’ on the role of trust in the transition towards sustainable agriculture in May 2023. Her new research project focuses on the potential role of art in climate conflicts, part of CONTRA, funded by JPI Urban Europe.
