In 2023, I am doing fieldwork as part of the CONTRA project, that studies conflicts around climate change related policies in European cities. I am responsible for the fieldwork in Tilburg, Netherlands. CONTRA is an action research project where we collaborate with theatre makers to intervene in the research context and contribute to ‘productive conflict’. I’m very excited to add this artistic layer to my action research repertoire, and to explore how trust interacts with theatre and conflict in this context.
